Santiago, August 29, 2024.-

Pampa Camarones and Haldeman Mining Company (HMC) announced a lease agreement for HMC’s mining properties located in Camarones.

The leased mining properties total 9,600 hectares and are located 5 kilometers northeast of the Pampa Camarones plant. The agreement is part of the company’s strategy to consolidate the Camarones district and to develop new sources of ore to feed the plant, incorporating properties with high geological potential, drilling, and operational synergies with the current properties under exploitation.

As highlighted by the Chairman of the Board of Pampa Camarones, Andrés Susaeta, “this new contract reflects our focus on new sources of ore, ensuring the search for new resources with a long-term perspective. We hope that this new alliance with HMC will be an important source of growth for Pampa Camarones and the Arica and Parinacota Region.”
